Short description of an invention: Granum flour is flour made from sprouted wheat, produced through a special process that preserves the key elements of the grain – enzymes, vitamins, and compounds that have a beneficial effect on the body.Production of Granum flour is designed in a way which encompasses a number of delicate phases, which can be divided into sprouting, drying and grinding. The goal is that each of these phases is carried out in a controlled environment, at low temperatures, to preserve the nutritional value of the grain. First of all, the wheat is thoroughly prepared so as to extract it from all likely contaminants. After the organoleptic (sensory) inspection, the wheat is sent for further processing, which consists of thorough hydro-thermal treatment, which removes all of the residual impurities. Then the seeds go into a phase of sprouting. This step takes place in a controlled environment, with no possibility of contact with the external environment.

Short description of an invention: Black Hole is a roof or wall prefabricated building module, and can be installed independently of the housing unit as a stand-alone solar system. As a module, Black Hole can be fixed but it also can have a tracking system which turns panels toward the sun, thus achieving up to 40% higher utilization of solar energy. Black Hole consists of several layers that serve different purposes. The first layer consists of a full line lenses that focus solar radiation in a single line, i.e. the absorber. The second layer contains tunnels made from Winston mirrors. This layer is designed to direct and transport the light to the absorber which lies in the depth of the collector. Here, the entire solar energy is focused, converted into heat and transferred to the working fluid. The third layer is a thermal insulation layer for the solar part of the collector, which does not allow any heat loss from the collector pipes. The fourth layer is the insulating constructional-assembling module which is also the collector’s holder. The efficiency of this insulation layer is increased up to 120%, because the solar part also has an insulating layer which, in this case, acts as a pre-insulating barrier. At the back (dorsal) side of the collector there is a final layer, which is self-coloured or patterned according to the customer’s request. This means that it is not necessary to further white-wash, or to arrange, the inside of the already constructed facility. Immediately after installation the assembly facility is fully functional.

Short description of an invention: Biotoksinomer operates with support of simple hardware and complex software. The device consists of two chambers. In one chamber is a control group of Daphnia, in stable water conditions. Through the other chamber raw water is constantly running, before its purification into drinking water, in which the examined group of Daphnia is located. Management of this device is done through a software solution. The software manages a web camera that, every 300 -500 milliseconds, for 24 hours a day, records the Daphnia in the device’s chambers. Based on software analysis of these pictures, the number, size and mobility of Daphnia is measured. When the number of live Daphnia in the test chamber falls under 50% or more, as defined by the European toxicity test, an alarm is activated. The alarm notifies that the water isn’t appropriate for further treatment into drinking water, because of the content of toxic substances. Then the supply of fresh water to the treatment plant should immediately be turned off. The brain of this device is the unique software, which has the ability to spot the death of Daphnia in real time, and immediately inform the user. It automatically sends data to a server and graphically displays the condition of the Daphnia in the last 24 hours, and throughout the year, which can be tracked online.

Short description of an invention: The technological procedure of EPOLIT ANTISTATIC production is completely unique. By changing the process of connecting the key components, the way in which the system conducts electricity between the person and the ground changes, allowing the continuous removal of static electricity to the ground. EPOLIT ANTISTATIC’s innovative ecological water-degradable formulation contributes to reduced material sensitivity during the installation process. Namely, condition for conductivity of other antistatic floors available on our market is that in the final layer of floor finishing, up to 2.5 kg/m2 of antistatic material can be used (layer thickness of approximately 1.3-1.5 mm). It is very difficult to uniformly apply this amount of material in practice, and every increasing of finish layer’s thickness (e.g., due to uneven concrete substrate) reduces the floor conductivity. The structure of EPOLIT ANTISTATIC is such that there is no condition of amount of material (1-5 mm) in order to meet the required electrical resistance. It is not necessary to use the conductive coating with a dense network of copper strips to achieve the desired electro conductivity, which further simplifies the floor installing. This product is vapor permeable and can be installed over young concrete (3-5 days old) in which the maturation process is incomplete and moisture content is very high. Also, EPOLIT ANTISTATIC’s formulation is adaptable to different ranges of electrical resistance (conductive range 104-106 Ω, or dissipative range 106-108 Ω).

Short description of an invention: HEMI ECO’s development team has designed a new kind of building blocks which significantly improve the current method of constructing buildings. The shaped building block falls under construction trade, namely under building units in the shape of blocks for general building structures. The construction system relies on the modularity of 4 differently shaped blocks: two types of facade blocks, corner block and interior partition block that can be used to construct any type of structure. Every block consists of various layers of materials:
–    The outer (facade) part which is made of artificial stone, brick or natural stone,
–    The central insulating part which is made of styro-concrete, or concrete mixed with some natural materials such as cropped straw, chaff and flax and hemp residues,
–    The internal finishing part which is made of extended mortar, lime mortar, stone, brick, ceramics or some other material.
Thanks to all these layers the shaped building block fulfills the functions of external protection, structural framework, insulating and interior finishing. The blocks are assembled and stabilized by jointing elements with traditional mortar, or, even better, using binding materials that have good insulating properties. Facilities which are built using this method already have a fully completed high quality facade which would, in a standard construction style, take a longer period of time to complete. Along with that, all interior walls are already plastered and ready for painting. No scaffold is necessary for masonry and facade work; therefore one can save the resources that are needed for scaffold, road occupancy, design of sidewalk, sidewalk occupancy, various permits etc..

Short description of an invention: Presto works with less than 1% of energy loss and supplies the hot water at the same moment when cold water enters the unit. This is how it saves up to 85% of electricity while storage water heaters can waste as much as 1,000 kWh per year as water in the tank is continuously heated (standby heat loss). Special technology of production, installation and combining of functional circuits, eliminates 40% of parts and 50% of work related to the manufacturing process, while the product performance remains unchanged. The heart of the Presto heater relies on micro-switches which are rated for 150,000 cycles which is equivalent to 15 years of use. Cutting edge design takes up to 110 times less space than storage water heaters. The Presto water heater weighs 0.5 kg (1.1lb.), and it can fit into the palm of your hand. It mounts in any position and works regardless of its orientation – up, down, or sideways. The use of this water heater is economically very favourable. It saves 5 l (1.3 gal.) of cold water for every 15 meters (16 yd.) of piping per each use by providing warm water immediately to the place of consumption. That means Presto does not waste any water – you don’t need to let the cold water run as you wait for warm water to reach a remote tap. Also, it is extremely light and its tankless design means that there is no need for preventive construction, as required when using a tank which can store up to 300 l (80 gal.) of water. Since water is not stored in the tank, chances of rust and corrosion are completely eliminated. The design of the hot water plumbing system is very simple and straight forward – only one pipe is required! In addition, Presto has a unique design – it has a self-cleaning heating coil in which the incoming water flushes and scrubs the heating coil every time you use it.

Short description of an invention: 

HS-VG hydrogen generators are designed as a combination of two classic types of generators/cells – wet and dry, which achieve more efficient electrolysis in a small space. Also, there is no, so-called, “current leakage” or device parts that look plain (such as plastic tubes) and interfere the device installation in a car. Generators can operate safely for a long time in all conditions and in all machines that use internal combustion engines (cars, buses, boats, etc.). The main part of the hydrogen generator is a cell, where electrolysis takes place and which consists of stainless, magnetic-resistant steel electrodes. Depending on the type of a device, creation of HHO gas in the cell is enabled by using distilled water (which the user adds when necessary) and direct current (DC) of 12 or 24 V taken from the alternator. Hydrogen generators in cars use only 300 g of water per 1000–1500 km. The electrolysis process requires the usage of electrolyte and for this purpose an aqueous solution of potassium hydroxide is used, which also provides smooth operation of the device at low temperatures, i.e. up to -17 °C, while the addition of isopropyl alcohol makes its use possible at any temperature below zero. In addition to high energy efficiency, the unique design of HS-VG hydrogen generators enables a non-aggressive electrolysis process so frequent replacement of electrodes is not required. When properly used, the generators can last for 20-30 years, but the lifetime of the device can be extended almost indefinitely with the replacement of electrodes. This distinguishes the Hydrogen Solutions’ generators from a large number of similar devices on the market. Hydrogen Solutions point out the following as its main advantages: “The secret of our generators is not in the expensive materials that other manufacturers often use to make the electrodes. That only increases the device price, but does not solve the problem fundamentally. Our secret is in the process itself and higher efficiency that was achieved with the specific design. HS-VG hydrogen generator is a dry cell submerged in liquid, which reduced the dimensions of the device. All 8 electrodes are isolated (protected) and each of them actively participates in the electrolysis process, which is not the case when it comes to devices that are sold online. In brief – the device we designed is simple, yet highly effective”.

It is designed for drying fruits, vegetables, medicinal herbs, spices and mushrooms. Solaris 1 is fully developed and brought to industrial production in our company. The dryer is patently protected. Short description of an invention: Bioremediation is a process that uses microorganisms or their enzymes to return the contaminated environment to its original state. This kind of treatment is particularly interesting because it provides complete degradation or transformation of hazardous organic pollutants into harmless products. Microorganisms used in the process of purification can be purchased; however, they are not as efficient as those that already exist in the polluted soil. The existing microorganisms purify the soil naturally, but at a slow pace because there are an insufficient number of them and they are not quite resistant to the environmental effects. The BREM GROUP team is using microorganisms isolated from their indigenous habitat – contaminated land, which enables the naturally occurring purification process that usually lasts for years, to take place in only several months. Microorganisms are isolated and then selected, adapted and multiplied, thus forming a community (consortium) which is applied to the contaminated site. This approach allows the process of natural purification, with a minimal impact to the surrounding environment. In the bioremediation process the BREM GROUP uses the mobile bioreactor so that the strengthening of isolated microorganisms is done directly on the location of the contaminated soil. This innovative approach offers many advantages and it results in a rapid and cost-effective cleaning of the environment. The mobility of the bioreactor allows a higher degree of efficiency because of its ability to respond as quickly as possible to the possible changes in the field and in case of incidents. The bioreactor is made of lightweight materials, so its transportation to the place of contamination is not problematic and expensive. This gives a great advantage over one of the classical approaches that includes the removal of the contaminated soil to warehouses where it is purified and then the soil is transported back to its original location. This kind of bioremediation procedure is very expensive because of the transport of soil, its storage in special facilities and the process of obtaining special permits for such a treatment.

Short description of an invention: Under the E!5062 VesTA umbrella RT-RK developed a complete testing environment, the hardware module as well as the software module, that together allow an automatic testing process for TV systems. The hardware unit represents a grabber-generator device called RT-AV300. It is an audio/video grabber-generator, which supports all standard analogue and digital audio and video inputs and outputs. RT-AV300 is also intended for interception of signals between the TV motherboard and the LCD panel supporting LVDS interface (Low Voltage Differential Signalling). This unique device provides real time preview of LVDS inputs as well as other video interfaces. It can be connected to the computer via standard network interface and it is compatible with any PC (desktop, laptop) without the need for additional drivers. Software part of the testing system is a RT-RK’s product called RT-INTENT. It is an integrated test environment with test management and test execution modules intended to track the quality assurance with the applied testing procedure. It provides web access to test management modules and cross-comparison of the requirements vs. the test plan coverage. The central part of the testing system is the device under test (DUT). RT-AV300 is able to generate audio and video inputs for the DUT simultaneously with the control of the DUT by sending specific commands with the control devices such as a remote controller. As a result, the DUT generates output signals that can be captured by the RT-AV300. The captured signals are analysed and compared with the reference signals using the RT-INTENT software algorithms. Based on the result of the comparison, the system decides whether the behaviour of the DUT is satisfactory or unsatisfactory. Application software handles the management of all of these automatic tests, test results, reports, automatic upgrades, etc..

Short description of an invention: Traditional file storage is based on the tree structure and requires that users create folders and subfolders in order to store their files. In case of large amounts of data and files, finding the right one quickly can be troublesome. In order to locate the file we need to know how it was named, when it was stored, to which subfolder it belongs, etc. Therefore, the guiding idea for starting Vertigo lies exactly in solving the aforementioned problems. Vertigo completely reverses the traditional logic of file storage. File names are no longer the key to defining their content. The basic is the semantic, logical and meaningful to file owner, which enables easy data manipulation and search. Vertigo is based on semantic data model – a fact oriented model which describes the meaning of its instances. To be more precise: the file owner creates semantics and adds tags to files that describe the content. Thus, the owner of the file is in charge of setting the rules which will later help find the requested file much easier than in the traditional tree structure. Files can be stored anywhere on hard disc, but the user does not have to be aware of their location. By entering tags in search criteria, Vertigo finds files with requested tag quickly. Search can be narrowed with more tags added to the file primarily and thus, the number of found files decreases. This way, file search is guided, easy and fast, and moreover, fully controlled by the file owner. It saves time and, therefore, shortness the working process. The development of the application is not finalized yet. More features are being implemented: files sharing and synchronization between multiple data storage, document collaboration and advanced database management system. Compatible with all operating systems, and intended to be widely used by companies and users operating in various industries, file search with Vertigo will soon relieve you from vertigos.

Short description of an invention: The active matters that contain “good” bacteria (Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus megaterium, Bacillus suptilis, Azotobacter chrocoocum, Azotobacter vinelandi and Derxia sp.) were obtained by using a unique technique and applying a special procedure for growing bacteria. The active matters were immediately tested on lettuce and tomato seedlings which reacted in a short period of time. A demonstration of Slavol application effects on agricultural production followed soon, and the results showed that the use of this innovative bio-preparation increased the crop yield in the range from 15 to 20 per cent! For its effects on plants Slavol was awarded the gold medal – EUREKA – Brussels 2005. The experiments were carried out in collaboration with the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad and the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade, as well as with agricultural extension services of Serbia (PSS). Slavol was analysed through doctoral dissertations, master theses and graduate papers, and nowadays Agrounik cooperates with 14 PSS in Serbia. Agrounik won the “Captain Misa Anastasijevic” award for being the best company in Serbia in 2008 in the area of linking R&D, production, and sales, as well as for education and popularization of science. Production of Slavol began in 2005, in a small pilot plant with capacity of only about 3 tons. The current production capacity has increased to about 3 500 tons and Slavol is being exported to Greece, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia. Agrounik’s plans are aimed at developing a new product, as well as expanding the sales of Slavol to the markets in England and Hungary.

Short description of an invention: The RingBus is a standalone system with various available protocols (TCP/IP, Modbus, LonWorks, etc.) for connecting with other systems in the building. On the basis of a control matrix, The Ring Bus system allows flexible control of all connected dampers independent from the physical structure of the system in the building. One central processor unit can connect up to 500 Ring Bus field modules as the Ring Bus wiring can reach 5,000 m. If the number of the fire- and smoke – dampers, and controlling and signaling contacts need to be increased, it is solved simply by adding new Ring Bus central processor units. In addition, the central processor unit can be expanded with 16 Input/output modules. The purpose of the modular expansion is to serve as the integration unit with the fire alarm system, dashboard signalization systems, control of ventilation system, extractor fans, counters/timers, and calipers. However, the biggest advantage of the Ring Bus system is reliability. That means that in the case of disturbance, such as short circuit or interruption of the major cable causing interruption of data transmission, the system will still continue to function in its normal mode! That is because the Ring Bus central processor unit is identifying the error and bridging it using the relay Ring Bus units in the cables system. Within max of 2 seconds, the system divides into two branches, it excludes the damaged cable between the two neighboring Ring Bus units from the system, and all Ring Bus units are back in operation as before the disturbance! The fire protection tabs, and fire- and smoke- dampers remain running during this field bus modules switch-off-connection. Even the ventilation stays in the current switch–condition. Short description of an invention: Microscopic structures of pigmented skin changes can be visualized by using multiple colors and high-powered magnification of the device (30x). This magnification allows very clear differentiation of important skin structures, not only on the surface (epidermis), but also within deeper layers of the skin (dermis). The basic setup is a digital camera integrated into a suitable hand-held probe. The signal is fed into the computer’s digitizer board and the images are visualized on the computer monitor. The images are then digitally transferred into a database allowing accurate follow-up examinations and computer analysis. BEST (software for basic dermoscopy examination of skin tumors), developed by MD Jadran Badric, can be used for data entry and processing. It has in-built dermoscopy algorithms for clinical and dermoscopy diagnosis, the histopathology section, and multimedia section for dermoscopy photos uploading. The digital multispectral dermoscope can connect to the Internet or other telematics networks with purpose of exchanging information and discussing problems online. It can store, retrieve, and compare images of suspicious pigmented lesions over time, providing better monitoring of disease progression.  In addition, no biopsies are needed and start of treatment at very early stages of melanoma reduces the treatment costs significantly.
