Call for innovative projects from agro-food sector

Serbian Chamber of Commerce is a partner in project Network of Young Innovators in the Agro-food Sector (NO-BLE Ideas Network), which is implemented by the Regional Agency for the transfer of knowledge and technology from Italy, in cooperation with 12 other regional partners.

The project is financed by the EU funds by 4 Call IPA Southeastern Europe.

The aim of the project is to implement the innovation in the agro-food sector, to contribute to sustainable growth of that industry in South Eastern Europe. The project offers special services for the development and promotion of innovative ideas in the agro-food sector. Visibility innovative ideas guaranteed participation in international competitions, which will provide an opportunity for young researchers to present their projects. Companies and investors will support the valuable ideas through the funding of pilot projects. The main project activities are building a platform for networking innovation, the opening of an office for support, innovations in the organization of the Festival International Agricultural Fair, organizing international competition and the best financing pilot projects.

In accordance with the Action Plan of project an office was opened to support innovative projects of young researchers – Innovators in Serbia, placed in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Resavska 13 street. The office offers free services in the field of innovation management, innovation financing and intellectual property in order to prepare for the implementation of innovative projects in the economy at the national and international level.

We invite young researchers who are under 35 and have the original innovative projects that can be applied in the agro-food sector, and have the potential to enter the international market, to be involved in NO-BLE network using a technology platform at http://network.nobleideas.eu.

As a result of the project we expected to increase in the number of implemented innovations in the agricultural sector, the greater the competitiveness of firms, increased the level of knowledge and skills of the young participants in the project, as well as awareness of the local professional and the general public about the importance of efficient use of EU assistance programs. This way will improve the cooperation of national and international institutions and open up opportunities for new projects from the EU, as well as other support programs for Serbia.

The call is open until 30 September 2013. and that after this date will be carried out selection of projects submitted.
