Partnership is involving different key actors forming the institutional framework for fostering innovation: national and regional ministries, technology and innovation agencies and research organisations.
It is composed of 15 partners from 11 SEE countries, covering old and new EU member states and
(potential) candidate countries, representing a majority of SEE geographical area with population of
104 mio inhabitants.

Ministry of Economic Affairs of Herzegbosnian Canton (MGK10) is one of 8 ministries of the Government of Herzegbosnian Canton. It is situated in Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ministry of Economic Affairs of Herzegbosnian Canton has following areas under its jurisdiction: transport, trade, tourism, catering services, mining, industry, energy, entrepreneurship and crafts. There are many possibilities for introducing innovations in any of listed areas, especially in the area of entrepreneurship. There are good possibilities for positive spill-over effects of this project that could encompass private sector as well. Ministry has many experiences analysing different sectors, preparing recommendations and organizing forums, meetings and workshops.

MGK10 is involved in all project activities, especially in preparing state-of-the-art analysis for BIH, preparing national analysis according to estimated TIAS rate, identifying national policy gaps and preparing national policy recommendation. The partner also assists at project evaluation, contribute to the preparation of the communication plan, one workshop for stakeholders and be in attendance at FINNO committee, meetings and workshop.

MGK10 expects to upgrade capacities of employees who are directly involved in the project as well as other employees who is encompassed by the project activities. That should contribute to the overall upgrading of business practices and business management. It benefits as well by creating new relationships, getting experience and knowledge from other project partners and mostly by receiving recommendations for improving existing innovation policies from other participants.
