Partnership is involving different key actors forming the institutional framework for fostering innovation: national and regional ministries, technology and innovation agencies and research organisations.
It is composed of 15 partners from 11 SEE countries, covering old and new EU member states and
(potential) candidate countries, representing a majority of SEE geographical area with population of
104 mio inhabitants.

Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Macedonia (MOE) is a responsible institution for creating and leading the innovation policy of the country. The Ministry has many experiences analysing different sectors, preparing recommendations and organizing forums, meetings and workshops.

The partner have overview of project activities, but mostly it contributes to the project by participating in promotional and dissemination activities of the FINNO project, participating and cooperating at relevant partnership meetings, promoting the FINNO committee and attending at FINNO committee meetings. By giving inputs, comments and reviewing state-of-the-art analysis, TIAS analysis, TIAS structure and its methodology MOE  contributes to the success of the Action plan and FINNO committee.

For MOE the project provides important inputs/outputs, cooperation activities and common methodology upon which the Ministry gains important data, tools and expert material which are of great value (beneficial) for policy making processes and cooperation among involved countries in the field of innovation and technological development.

Since project partnership consists of important and relevant organisations in South East Europe, MOE, sees the importance for cooperation in the FINNO project and especially in establishing the FINNO committee as a mean of project sustainability and as a mean for future cooperation and fostering innovation in South East Europe.
