Partnership is involving different key actors forming the institutional framework for fostering innovation: national and regional ministries, technology and innovation agencies and research organisations.
It is composed of 15 partners from 11 SEE countries, covering old and new EU member states and
(potential) candidate countries, representing a majority of SEE geographical area with population of
104 mio inhabitants.

TIA is an independent public agency responsible for the enhancement of technology development and innovation in the Republic of Slovenia. The agency was established in 2004 by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia. Its main activities is implementation and execution of national programmes aimed at technology development and foster cooperation of R&D institutions and universities with industry.

TIA is the lead partner of the FINNO project. It contributes to all project activities, but especially it is involved in establishing, promoting and organizing the FINNO committee, preparing the action plan, preparing the instructions for workshops, monitoring the activities of the project, preparing FINNO project final conference and one workshop. Revision of the work done at other project workshops is as well going to be supervised by TIA. Together with other Slovenian project partner TIA prepares the state-of-the-art-analysis policies, strategies and existing indicators for Slovenia.
