Technology and innovation management education in Serbia

Abstract: Technology and Innovation Management (TIM) education in Serbia. A questionnaire-based mail survey was used to collect necessary data. The survey targeted two populations – professors who teach TIM courses at state and private universities, and practitioners who are responsible for managing technology. The results indicate that the curriculum of TIM requires prioritization and changes, and that business executives need to be better educated in different TIM knowledge areas. Some of the results obtained may be a consequence of small sample groups, and the future intention of the authors is to expand the samples, as well as to further examine and verify the findings presented in this paper.
